An idle lighting look gives the stand a visual presence between interactions.
An interactive display stand with video playback, audio and responsive LED lighting. Part of the Dave family — named for “favourite”, designed to become yours. Created for exhibitions and displays by Event Tech Research Ltd.
Explore the experience ↓Step onto the pressure mat and the stand comes alive. Video appears on the display, audio fades in and LEDs add colour and movement around the installation.
The visitor interaction is simple, with no app or touchscreen required. Behind it, SuperDave coordinates sensor input, media playback and lighting as one experience. Fades, looping and end behaviour are configured to suit the installation.

Release and playback settings determine how the system ends the visit and returns to standby.
Dave means “favourite”. Derived from David, a name with Hebrew roots associated with “beloved”, it’s a familiar name for dependable technology people enjoy using and come to rely on.
The Dave family brings that idea to exhibition stands and displays: practical tools with personality, designed to earn their place as a favourite part of the setup.
SuperDave brings the experience together through sound, video, lighting and interaction. It’s part of a growing family of Dave products for exhibitions and displays.
LED-Dave is coming soon — the next favourite in the Dave family.
Addressable LEDs outline the plinth and frame the screen.
Rich cyan, magenta and saturated colour bring the display into the surrounding space. The screen, plinth and LED accents can share a visual direction, with lighting looks configured around each experience.
Idle and visitor states give the stand a distinct presence before and during an interaction. The overhead spotlight adds white illumination while the LEDs carry the colour.
A mounted display carries the visual content. The plinth and surrounding structure can be integrated with addressable LEDs for a wash of colour, animated effects or lighting cues that complement the film.
The reference arrangement brings together a portrait screen, plinth, floor sensor and overhead white spotlight. Screen orientation, lighting layout, cable routes and the physical build are specified for each project.
Manage the stand from a phone, tablet or laptop connected to its private network. The browser interface brings everyday operation and technical setup into one place.
Upload films, create playback profiles and organise single-film or playlist experiences.
Schedule active windows and choose the behaviour outside show hours.
Configure mat response and video and audio fades, then simulate a visitor for testing.
Read player status, inspect events and use audit history to support handover and troubleshooting.
Create different lighting looks for idle, visitor and fault states, using scenes, effects and lighting playlists.
Configure fixtures and groups to match the physical LED layout. Pattern layers, colour controls and sound-reactive looks help the lighting complement the display content.
SuperDave uses addressable LEDs, with video playback and lighting managed by the embedded player. The lighting configuration is tailored and commissioned for each stand.
The overhead spotlight provides white illumination. The addressable LEDs create the colour and animation around the display.
Each stand has its own embedded player, sensor input, media and lighting control. Normal playback runs locally.
Simulate the mat and check screen, audio and lighting responses before opening.
Save settings, media, profiles, playlists and schedules to support recovery and replacement players.
Operator guidance and installation checks support the technicians who set up, run and hand over the system.
For exhibitions, brand activations and bespoke display installations that need more than a continuously looping screen.
